Spotify Update, Some Baseball Thoughts, Et Cetera

Hello readers!

Well, the first month after I released my music album has come to a close, and the good news is that at one point on September 30th, I had 52 monthly listeners on Spotify.  On the downside, there are still not many followers.  While I don't expect a whole lot of album or song sales, I am hoping that my Spotify link can retain close to that many listeners and perhaps add some followers next month.

Just as a reminder, the Spotify link to my artist page, The Offseason Hobbyist is here:

As of today, October 4th, here is the monthly listener and follower count:

The regular season in baseball has come to a close, and I'm kind of sad that the St. Louis Cardinals missed the playoffs.  Well, there's always next season, and hopefully the Cards can win it all in 2019.

On the plus side, former Cardinals hitter Luke Voit is playing well for the Yankees, and he has been a good contributor for them in the playoffs.  I wish him the best of luck.

Also, the NBA's regular season is near, and I am excited to see the preseason game in Seattle between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings that will take place in Key Arena on October 6th.  This will mark the return of Kevin Durant, and hopefully Steph Curry, Klay, and Draymond will play plenty of minutes as well.  Also, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield, and Marvin Bagley III will be playing, so this game should be a fun one.

In international basketball, some of the seasons are already under way, as the Europe Cup Qualification games, BCL qualification games, the French League (also known as the French Jeep Elite), the LKL (Lithuania's top league), and the Adriatic League (also known as ABA Liga) have begun their seasons.

Anyways, that's all there is for now, and thank you for reading!
